honestly,there are tons of ways to go about it depending on your body type,but i would actually recommend looking into a Navy Seal workout....they cover running,swimming, and basically any other kind of exercise......it all goes down to endurance gained and the aerobic capacity of your heart,which their workout supports for both situations.....
